Cat housing is the term used for providing housing facilities to one’s pet cat. The cats usually stay in one’s home but these days a trend has started that enables a pet owner to settle the pet in his/her own little home. There are many advantages as the pet seems to be fond of having a well prepared home(research suggests) and also the owner’s home may not be that dirty afterwards. Plus the out doors houses can be valuable if you have more then one pet and a combined condo can be build instead of purchasing homes for different pets. Anther plus is that houses built outdoors can be big as compared to the indoor houses for apparent reasons. Indoor houses are as the name suggests the houses made inside your own home. The location of the home must be planned before overtaking such a job as a poor house plan may not suit your lifestyle. Indoor houses are built mainly due to the reason that your pet kitten cannot self exist.

This can be a major problem if a pet is over dependent the owner making the migration very difficult .Building a cat house inside means that you will take on the added responsibility of your cat's exercise and whether it stays fit or not will depend largely on you. Another thing to consider before deciding to settle your pet in a house is that what kind of house is needed.

There can be two alternatives: Build a house yourself or Buy a ready-made house. These day trend is to buy a ready-made house as it is purpose built and may provide better facilities for a pet.
